SELF-PAY OPTIONS

We require payment at the time of the session unless other arrangements have been made in advance.  Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted for payment.

      • Average Cost Per Therapy Session:  $125-$175
      • A sliding scale may be applied to rates as appropriate.
      • A student discount is available.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you fail to cancel a scheduled appointment without 24 hours’ notice, we cannot use that time for
another client and you will be billed for your missed appointment. Insurance does not cover this cost. It is your responsibility.

You will automatically be charged a fee of $75.00 for missed appointments or cancellations with less
than a 24‐hour notice. This fee will need to be paid prior to scheduling another appointment.

Remember the time of your appointment is reserved especially for you. Please be mindful of your
therapist and our time as well. One of the forms we ask new clients to complete is an acknowledgment and acceptance of this policy.

INSURANCE

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with your insurance benefits and to verify coverage with the carrier prior to your first appointment. Your therapist will file your insurance claim, but you are responsible for deductibles, co-insurance, and co-payments.

Compass Counseling is a participating provider for numerous insurance, EAP and managed care programs. Please inquire as to carriers for which we will accept assignment. Verification of health insurance benefits is not a guarantee of payment to Compass Counseling, and all charges, including non-covered services, co-payments and applicable deductibles are the patient's responsibility at the time services are rendered. Fees incurred under our appointment cancellation policy are not covered by insurance.

Below is a partial list of insurers with whom we work. Not all Associates accept assignment from all of these providers, so you will need to check with your therapist regarding your carrier. If your provider is not on the list, please check with us to determine whether your insurer can be added.
